The final program in the MonDak Heritage Center’s Poetry & Literature series for Hometown Humanities Sidney! Tahj Kjelland presents Express to Speak on Monday, April 30 at 7:00 p.m. at the MonDak. Tahj works to enhance audience members’ abilities to write and perform spontaneous poetry. Better known as spoken-word poetry or hip hop, spontaneous poetry integrates real-world experience with improvised performance. ‘Express to Speak’ gives participants the opportunity to express themselves artistically through storytelling. Mind-mapping exercises used in this workshop are designed to open up individuals to their voice, views, and passions while giving them real-life problem-solving tools. Light refreshments provided. Sponsored by Humanities Montana!
