For the third program in the MonDak Heritage Center’s Poetry & Literature series for Hometown Humanities Sidney, Tami Haaland presents Montana’s Historic Poets on Tuesday, April 10 at 7:00 p.m. at the MonDak. Montana has been home to many poets from the late 19th century until the present. Haaland, a professor at Montana State University – Billings and former Montana Poet Laureate, focuses on individual voices of Eastern Montana (and other parts of the state) and discusses themes and patterns evident in their work through poetry readings, images, text, and more.
